The Legion of Mary: Our Lady of Miracles Praesidium

Our Blessed Mother is Jesus’ most perfect disciple. She chose to put God’s Will first every moment of her life, from the moment of her “Yes!” which lead to our new covenant with God, to standing with her beloved son at the cross. Holy Mary is the most perfect example and role model of how to live as Jesus taught us. She invites us to walk with her, as she walks behind Jesus.
The foremost mission of the Legion of Mary is to lead souls to Christ. We are a spiritual ministry, supporting individuals and families in our community who are seeking a closer relationship to God. Our motto is, “In Jesus, Through Mary.” All things are to follow Him and glorify God, with Mary as our guide. Mary shows us how to be humble in spirit, doing all things in love, and giving all glory to God.

Legion of Mary members reach out to new parishioners to welcome, support connection, engagement, spiritual growth, and living a healthy Catholic lifestyle here at St. Benedict Catholic Church.

As a Legion of Mary member, you will have the privilege of journeying with beautiful souls as they grow closer to Christ. Serving in this ministry will allow you to grow in your own spirituality, deepening your relationship with God and strengthening the Body of Christ. Serving Him through Mary transforms all graces tenfold, as God was the first to honor her and call her Blessed.
