Youth Ministry – Life Teen (Grades 6-12)

About Youth Ministry

Our Youth Ministry is more than just a program, it’s a community where faith, friendships, and real-life conversations come together. We create a welcoming space for teens to grow in their relationship with God, connect with one another, and discover how to live out their Catholic faith in today’s world.

At our gatherings, we talk openly about the challenges and joys of teen life: stress, social media, peer pressure, family life, relationships, and more. We also dive deeper into the heart of our faith through prayer, Scripture, and discussions about Jesus, the saints, the Holy Spirit, the Church, discipleship, and the sacraments.

But it’s not all serious, community and joy are central to who we are. From water balloon fights to service projects, sports, and movie nights, we make time for fun and friendship too.

Whether it’s through faith formation, honest conversations, or unforgettable memories, our Youth Ministry is here to walk with teens as they grow into disciples of Christ.

Sundays from 6pm-8pm (Dinner Provided) at the St. John Bosco multipurpose room

All sessions begin in August 2026 and continue most weeks through May 2027.

To help cover the cost of supplies, materials, and programming, there is a reduced $50 registration fee per student for the year. In addition, we ask each family to support our ministry by providing dinner for one Youth Ministry night each semester. This shared commitment helps build community, keeps our weekly meals possible, and allows us to continue offering a welcoming environment for all of our teens.

Volunteers Needed

The success of our St. Benedict Youth Ministry greatly depends on amazing volunteers like YOU! If you feel called to be more involved with the young people of our parish (junior high and high school), we would love to talk to you about joining our team! No prior experience is required - just a willingness to joyfully accompany our young people in their growing relationship with Christ by sharing your time and Catholic faith. You'll receive support and training and likely find your time with the youth fruitful to your own relationship with Christ. Several roles with varying time commitments are available. Explore how you can make a difference!
