The Finance Council
A parish is required, by Canon Law, to have a Finance Council. This allows for transparency in finances, prevents impropriety, and advises the pastor on the best use of gifts entrusted to the parish community.
This council helps to run the organizational aspect of the church in the mindset of a good steward.
- Meets once a month
- The usual term is 3 years
Meet the Council
Your Parish Finance Council meets the fourth Wednesday of every month to assist in the development and management of the financial resources of the parish.
