Parish Cookbook

Due to the pandemic, many more of us are cooking from home. Naturally, a parish cookbook would be a great way for us to virtually share the meals we are making for our loved ones, helping everyone to get some new ideas! Deadline is Sat, Oct 31.


Parish Cookbook

The St. Benedict Events Ministry would like to put together a Parish Cookbook to virtually share the recipes from meals we are making for our loved ones, giving all of us some new ones to try! Please send your recipe (including how many it serves) and a picture of the finished dish (if possible), along with your name to Deadline is Sat, Oct 31.


Safe Environment Training Update

We are down to the last few days of updating your Safe Environment training with the diocese, in case you haven’t done so yet.

We still have about 40 volunteers that must complete their training by Monday, or they will not be allowed to participate in their ministry after Oct 1.


St. Vincent De Paul Collection

We so appreciate your continued donations. Here is the list for the week: Mayo, Peanut Butter, Jelly/Jam, Pasta Sauce (Red), Laundry Soap, and Hand Soap.

Water Drive Update

Thank you for continuing to bring in bottles of water for donation to the St. Vincent de Paul Water Truck.

They will continue to collect water as long as the heat holds out, probably until the end of October.


Virtual First Reconciliation Meeting

Is your child planning to prepare for First Reconciliation this year? Please join us on Thu, Oct 1 at 6:30pm for a virtual meeting on Google Meets. At this important meeting, you will register your 2nd-5th grade child for First Reconciliation and learn about the program.

We will have Adoration on Fri, Oct 2 only, between the hours of 9:00am and 7:00pm. Please sign up for a specific time slot.


Blessing of Animals in honor of St. Francis of Assisi

It is customary that, in remembrance of St. Francis’ love of creatures, animals are led to the churches for a special blessing ceremony. Meet on the north side of the church for the ceremony (and remember to wear your face mask).
