"I give thanks to my God every time I think of you-and when I pray for you, I pray with joy." (Philippians 1:3-4)

As my time at St. Benedict Parish and St. John Bosco School draws to a close, these words from St. Paul reflect exactly what I feel in this moment-deep gratitude, abiding joy, and a heartfelt connection to each and every one of you. This past year has been one of grace, filled with moments that have strengthened my vocation and enriched my life in ways I did not expect.

When I arrived a year ago, I came with open hands and an open heart, ready to serve and to learn. What I found here was a warm and welcoming community that quickly made me feel at home. Every encounter, every shared celebration, every prayer lifted together became part of a journey that I will always cherish.

To Fr. James, the pastor of St. Benedict Church-thank you for your friendship, your guidance, and your unwavering support. Your leadership has been both pastoral and personal, and I have grown through your example of calm strength and wise counsel.

To the staff of both the parish and the school-your dedication and behind-the-scenes service have not gone unnoticed. You made the daily work of ministry lighter through your commitment, your kindness, and your generosity of spirit. I am sincerely grateful for the many ways you made my ministry here fruitful.

To the parishioners of St. Benedict-you have been a true spiritual family to me. Your faith, your hospitality, and your openness have touched me deeply. Whether in the pews, at the door after Mass, or in simple everyday conversations, you showed me what it means to live as a faithful, loving community.

To the parents of the children at St. John Bosco-thank you for sharing the joy of your children with us. One of the highlights of my ministry this year has been celebrating school Masses with your little ones- their energy, their singing, their innocent and eager hearts have lifted my spirit again and again. Those joyful liturgies were moments of pure grace, where the love of God was felt in laughter, song, and prayer.

As I move forward to a new assignment, know that you remain in my heart. I leave with deep gratitude, carrying your prayers and your stories with me. Please keep me in your prayers, as I will keep you in mine. May God continue to bless and guide this wonderful community, now and always.
