Annual Pastoral & Finance Reports

10-20-2019Weekly ReflectionFr. James Aboyi

Dear Parishioners,

I am pleased to present to you our Parish Annual Pastoral and Finance Reports for the fiscal years 2017/18 and 2018/19. As I stated earlier this year, I was not able to give you the Annual Report for the 2017/18 last year due to the transition of leadership and grief period we experienced. The reports presented to you this weekend are in two parts: the Pastoral Report (which covers the last fiscal year 2018/19) and the Financial Report (which covers fiscal years 2017/18 and 2018/19). Please note that the parish fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30.

READ ANNUAL REPORT

As you can see from the reports, the past two years have been very successful despite the challenges we went through within that time frame. I thank you all for your overwhelming support and personal sacrifices that keep our parish running. My special thanks to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Knights of Columbus, Pastoral Care Ministry, and all of the various ministries that helped us to reach out to all our members and friends within, and outside of, our parish community. Also, special thanks to Mary Jane Livens, our Business Manager, Bob Esposito, our Financial Consultant, Nick Garza, our Music Director, and all those who helped to put the reports together.

The past two fiscal years are uniquely significant in the history of our parish community. In the fiscal year 2018/19 we embarked on our historic building campaign for our new worship place. I again thank you for your overwhelming support for the building campaign. I am glad we made our pledge goal of $3.5M, and that we are currently on target with the pledge payments of over 50% of the goal. I continue to rely on your prayers and support to make our dreams of the new Church Building come true very soon.

If you would like a copy of the reports, please email Mary Jane Livens at mlivens@stbenedict.org to request one. A few hard copies will be available at the parish entrance and in the parish office. If you have any questions or need clarification on the reports, please call the parish office at 480.961.1610.

Thank you and Remain Blessed.

Fr. James
